Requirements
- The mouth is toothless
- Remaining teeth not worth saving can sometimes be extracted immediately before implant procedures

Procedure
Six to eight tooth implants are set into the upper jaw, and four to six into the lower jaw. Long-term temporary bridges are fastened onto the implants and are usable same day. We recommend a total stay of ten days for this part of the procedure. After six months the temporary bridges are exchanged for permanent bridges.

A fixed bridge is more difficult to clean. Should an implant ever be lost, a removable prosthesis is simpler and cheaper to refit.

For a Fast & Fixed treatment you travel once for 10 days. If you wish to replace the long-term temporary bridges with metal-ceramic bridges at the DENTAPRIME Dental Clinic, you will travel a second time after six months.
Does a Fast & fixed system not need rebuilding of bone?
A significant advantage of the Fast & Fixed system is the fact that the implants can be placed even into diminished bone tissue without rebuilding the tissue first. In those cases the implants are set at an angle. In cases of significant bone loss, rebuilding of bone tissue will be necessary.
What types of materials are used?
Titanium implants of the Bredent Medical company’s blueSKY brand are used, as well as bridges made by the same manufacturer.
Since I’m getting firmly anchored bridges on my first trip, why is a second trip necessary?
After implantations are complete, you will receive long-term temporary bridges, which are anchored to the implants, on the same day. Esthetically these bridges are satisfactory. The healing process, which takes place over the next six months, will change the position of the gums, and that makes renewal of the bridges necessary. Due to system limitations the temporary bridges can replace teeth only to the fifth tooth, while the permanent bridges replace to the sixth tooth.
