Payment

You can pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard) or by cash (Euro or Leva). You can bring up to 20.000 Leva or its equivalent in any other currency into Bulgaria in cash without having to declare it to customs.

20% of the anticipated treatment cost is due for payment just before you start treatment to cover part of the material cost. But you need not pay a deposit before you leave home. The 20% payment to cover materials is not payable until you reach the clinic and have committed yourself to treatment.

Please pay the remaining 80% as soon as treatment has been completed. If you intend to pay by credit card, we suggest you ensure that a suitable limit has been agreed with the card issuing bank before you start your journey.

Important if you pay by cash: more of than € 10.000 or equivalent must be declared at customs offices on arrival.
