Dentaprime Research Prize for Dental Medicine 2014
Many years ago the Dentaprime Dental Clinic, specialised in implantology and aesthetic dental medicine, started to promote scientific research and for this purpose established the ‘Dentaprime Research Prize for Dental Medicine’. The winners of this year’s award have now been chosen: A team from the dental prosthetics department at the University Clinic of Halle, Germany led by Dr. Vasiliki Tsita can celebrate winning this award endowed with 2,000 euros.
The dentists convinced the judges with their study “The precision of CT-planned and template-guided implantology in the toothless jaw”. Dr. Tsita researched this subject together with Dipl.-Ing. Christin Arnold, Prof. Dr. Jürgen M. Setz and university lecturer Dr. Arne F. Boeckler from 2010 to 2012. “Such scientific work is enormously important for our field because new results are the only way for us to continuously improve and further develop existing techniques”, says Dr. Regina Schindjalova, head of the Dentaprime Dental Clinic. “I warmly congratulate the winners of this year’s award.”
The award ceremony of the ‘Dentaprime Research Prize for Dental Medicine’ was held on March 28, 2014 in the Bulgarian town of Varna, where the Dentalprime Dental Clinic is located. “It took a lot of work and also blood, sweat and tears to carry out this study”, says Dr. Tsita, who accepted the prize on behalf of the team. “We are thrilled that our results have now been professionally recognised by the ‘Dentaprime Research Prize for Dental Medicine’.”
